Learn to ride

Wheelrights provide classes for Adult Beginners. These take place on Saturday mornings starting at 9.30 and last two hours. The location is the car park on the east side of Swansea's Civic Centre. Our instructors are qualified National Standard Assistant Cycling instructors. The cost is £5.00. This entitles you to one year's free membership of Wheelrights and, if you are not pedalling away at the end of the class, allows you to come again for no extra charge. For those who have mastered riding and controlling the bike we are offering short rides along the promenade as a first step towards on-road cycling. This can happen during the two hour session, typically after a few confidence gaining circuits of the car park. The 2012 classes will be on the following Saturdays: 14 April; 12 May; 16 June; 28 July; 1 September.
